Along with the allotment amenities the site also features a shop stocking horticultural products at sensible prices for the benefit of the allotments and the town of Pocklington residents. The shop is run entirely by volunteers for zero profit and is not associated with or affiliated to the Pocklington Allotment Association other than renting space on the allotment site. 

Opening times - Every SATURDAY and SUNDAY 
10:00am - 12:00pm from January to November. 

The Horticultural Shop stocks a wide range of items such as; 

• Compost - Varying Types from seed and cutting to peat free. 
• Fertilisers and Feeds - Liquid and Granular for the garden and veg plot
• Weed Control / Grass Weed and Feed 
• Bamboo / Support Canes - in Varying Sizes from 1ft to 8ft
• At certain times in early spring the shop stocks seed potatoes and onion sets. 
• Also available in the autumn the shop offers a seed order service from Kings Seeds. 

Allotment Holders and Town Residents (non allotment holders) wishing to use the shop must sign up to membership at the shop for £1 per year, renewable annually. The shop is located in the green unit outside the main council building through Gate 2 as you exit the town along The Mile.
